2026 Economic Census Data Collection with the Regent of Bengkalis Regency

Bengkalis – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Bengkalis Regency conducted the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) Data Collection activity together with the Regent of Bengkalis Regency at the Regent's Official Residence. This activity represents a tangible form of support from the local government for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census while also encouraging the public to actively participate in the success of the national economic data collection.
The activity carried out was the 2026 Economic Census Data Collection, conducted by BPS Bengkalis Regency enumerators together with the Regent of Bengkalis Regency. This data collection is part of the SE2026 implementation process, which aims to gather comprehensive and accurate information on economic activities.
The activity involved BPS Bengkalis Regency as the implementing agency for the data collection and the Regent of Bengkalis Regency as a respondent, representing the support of the Bengkalis Regency Government for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
The data collection was conducted as part of the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census, a national economic data collection program organized by Statistics Indonesia (BPS) in 2026.
The data collection activity took place at the Official Residence of the Regent of Bengkalis, which served as the location for interviews and data gathering conducted by BPS Bengkalis Regency enumerators.
This data collection was carried out to obtain complete, accurate, and reliable economic data as a basis for formulating development policies and economic planning at both regional and national levels. The presence and participation of the Regent of Bengkalis Regency are expected to serve as an example for the public in supporting the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
The data collection was conducted through interviews and questionnaire completion by BPS Bengkalis Regency enumerators in accordance with the methodology of the 2026 Economic Census. The collected data will be processed and utilized as a strategic source of information to describe economic conditions and support the formulation of more targeted development policies.
Through this data collection activity with the Regent of Bengkalis Regency, BPS Bengkalis Regency hopes to increase public awareness and participation regarding the importance of the 2026 Economic Census. Support from all segments of society is essential to ensure that the census produces high-quality data capable of serving as a foundation for sustainable economic development.
