Area of Rice Harvest and Production in Bengkalis Regency 2021

The availability of timely and accurate agricultural data becomes the basis for realizing targeted agricultural policies. Since 2018, BPS has collaborated with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), supported by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR / BPN), the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), and the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN). ), strives to improve the methodology for calculating rice harvested areas through the application of objective measurements by utilizing advances in information and communication technology as well as the availability of high-resolution satellite imagery. This collaboration is manifested in an activity entitled "Data Collection of Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics with the Area Sampling Framework (KSA) Method" or better known as the KSA Survey. The implementation of the KSA survey for rice commodities began nationally in 2018. Segment observations were carried out on the last 7 (seven) days of each month.
