Bengkalis, June 22, 2026 – In support of the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), the NGIBAR (Ngisi Bareng) activity was held at the Bengkalis Regent's Office. This activity serves as one of the efforts to increase participation and strengthen synergy among various stakeholders in ensuring the success of economic data collection, which will serve as a basis for formulating future development policies.

The NGIBAR activity was attended by the Regent of Bengkalis Regency, Kasmarni, S.Sos., M.MP, along with her staff, as a form of support for the implementation of SE2026. Through this activity, Statistical Partners gained an understanding of the importance of accurate, up-to-date, and accountable economic data as the foundation for effective and targeted development planning.

The 2026 Economic Census is a nationwide data collection initiative organized by Statistics Indonesia (BPS) to obtain a comprehensive picture of the condition and development of economic activities across Indonesia. The data generated will serve as a reference for the government, business actors, academics, and various stakeholders in formulating policies and economic development strategies.

The Head of BPS Bengkalis Regency stated that the success of the 2026 Economic Census depends greatly on the support and active participation of all elements of society and government institutions. Therefore, the NGIBAR activity serves as an important momentum to build collective awareness regarding the strategic role of data in development.

"Active participation from all parties is essential to produce high-quality economic data. Accurate data will become the foundation for formulating appropriate policies to support economic growth and improve community welfare," he said.

Through the implementation of NGIBAR, it is expected that a shared commitment will be established in supporting the 2026 Economic Census so that the data collection process can run smoothly and produce complete, accurate, and relevant data to meet development needs.

The spirit of collaboration and participation demonstrated in this activity marks an important first step toward the success of the 2026 Economic Census. Together, we can create high-quality economic data to support more targeted and effective development.
